MOXBALL PRIVACY POLICY
Effective: 6 October 2026
In short: MOXBALL has no accounts and no ads, analytics or tracking. It collects no personal data from you. Only in the cases below is the information needed to play shared.
1. Data we collect
None. MOXBALL never asks for your name, email, location, contacts or device ID. Playing alone or on one device, the game does not connect to the internet.
2. What stays on your device
To work, the game keeps only these on your device:
- your settings (sound, vibration, screen, keys, the text on your piece),
- your career and profile: results, level, achievements, weekly missions,
- your story and tournament progress, training records and last match setup,
- an error log: a technical summary of the last 20 errors, if the game hits any.
None of this is sent to us. Uninstalling removes it all; you can clear the error log any time in SETTINGS > ERROR LOG > CLEAR.
3. Online play (web version)
The page joins the game's shared room only when you open the ONLINE screen. While you are there, the other players in it see the text on your piece, your lobby state, the match setup, your direction and kick input during the match, and the state of the match. This goes through the hosting service's room feature; we do not store it. Leaving the screen removes everything you shared; closing the page leaves the room altogether.
4. Steam version
Achievements you earn are reported to Steam. If Steam Cloud is on, your save file (including the error log) syncs with your Steam account. Valve's privacy policy applies to these.
5. The error log
The error log is never sent automatically. If you want to report a problem, you can copy it and send it to us yourself; only then do we see it, and we use it only to fix the problem.
6. Web version
The web version is served by a hosting service that loads the game into your browser; that service's own privacy policy applies.
7. Children
MOXBALL's content suits everyone, but it is not directed at children under 13. As we collect no personal data, none is collected from children either.
8. Changes
If the game adds something new that needs data, we will update this policy before that feature ships and announce it in the release notes.
